Active Shooter Incident Response Training
If you have a group and would like to host this training, contact Tony Smoote at (844) 410-4100, ext. 801.
According to August 2012 statistics released by Security Management Online, the average active shooter incident lasts 12.5 minutes, but the average law enforcement response time takes 18 minutes. This often means that the only individuals who have the capacity to react in the time in between are the victims and potential victims.
Why do we teach this course?
Proper planning, training and mindset will help you get through an active shooter/intruder incident. Teachers, administrators, businesses and the general public should be properly trained on what to do, how to respond and how to get through one of these encounters.
